My HL Tiger 1 did the same thing.

I examined it from top to bottom and could not find anything loose or out of place even after a whole day of figuring and tinkering.........so I set the @*#! on fire in my back yard.

Now, instead of setting on the shelf taunting me, it is a nasty little "casualty" on our 1:16 battlefield.
