i went to a slot car shop and got an 8 tooth pinion gear and put that on my motor cost 99cents. i run one heat sink on the main motor and two on the tail with my 1800 mah 3cell pack. i fly for 20 min straight with no problems. i've probably got around 25 20min flights and still no prob. i was told to run 8 tooth pinion with flat bottom blades and 3cell. and 9 tooth with sym blades. i run flat's still no 3d just flying and stuff. i love my lipo. best addition. ps. dont waste your time with the dd tail it wont hold the lipo.
