What is the practical length for the prop spool on a gasser. I just finished assembling a H-9 81in. P-47 (G38). If the spool was 1/2in longer, I wouldn't have needed to cut a complete cylinder on the the dummy radial for the coil to clear. We have machinest in the club that can turn any length or diameter needed.
