A BMX track sounds ideal for the ATX. My son's ATX is very fun on a ballfield or any loose dirt. But I have never come close to a wheelie. I upgraded the motor with the .18 piston and sleeve and it still does not wheelie, but spins and fishtails on hard accelerations. I did put larger tires on it and the acceleration suffered a little, but it still takes off pretty fast and handles great.
