Possibly the intakes and layouts of the ducts and pipe in the model. On the other hand it may be the lack of main gear doors and the sound is a combo of engine and aerodynamic noise, rather like the real Hunter (the Blue note) .

It will be interesting to see if the AW Hawk sounds the same, although I doubt it as it has full ducting and all gear doors.

Still sounds great though!
