I put on another three flights on the Hawk yesterday, testing the kero start conversion on the JetCat 160 derated by 5k rpm, the start system works faultlessly but does use a lot of battery capacity , 550ma per flight.
On the 3rd flight the canopy separated, so heads up to everyone to carefully check the canopy latch hole for wear. The canopy is lost in a swamp but the only airframe damage was a couple of cuts in the top surface of the wing.
David, Im confused here. Which jet are you talking about here? An AW Hawk or a SM Hawk? Sounds like your talking about an AW Hawk.
