I like the scimitar series more than APC, they are more scrap resistant as speedster mentions and are lighter than apc's I specially like them for smaller engines (.91 and below).
Dar, I believe you're mistaken the scimitar's hub is thinner (APC is thicker) and the root? of the blades also is thinner than the APC which makes it easier to fit in standard spinner openings. APC's requeire more extensive changes of the spinner to fit
