RE: Protech Tojeiro 140 Build
Any plane can be made to do anything you want....some just take more work than others.
I don't think this one is far off, I hope that gasser has enough pull for the verticals at that weight. After all, if it ain't the nats, you'll never see a scale.
Even the T2K could snap and spin, it just took some wind up and some lead on getting it to stop. Spin breaks were the hardest just because of the wing area....if it wasn't 11 lbs, it really didn't want to stall without some help.
The Tojiero has a better looking wing and I don't think that'll be an issue. I don't know if that's the same wing it started life with years ago or not.
Anyway, as I said, I haven't ever seen one of these fly so I'm burning with curiousity. I love playing with designs and this one is different enough to be interesting. looking at an Arresti you'd never think it would fly as well as it does; I flew Jock's in Aruba and was very impressed. This one LOOKS better from that standpoint.
Good job reporting on this thing, it's good to have you back over here exploring pattern options [8D] And I for one am anxiously awaiting a good flight report.
