That's actually a good question - compatibility speaking, you'll have no problem.
But this is where I'm not too sure - with nitro you need a receiver pack, which is usually 4 double-a batteries giving you 6 volts.
With the BEC circuit on most ESC's, i *think* they provide LESS THAN 6 volts - but again, I'm not positive on this. So if you run without receiver pack once switching to electric (like I am) you *might* notice less power in the servo.
Maybe someone with more knowledge on BEC's (A circuit that eliminates the need for a receiver battery) can answer this question, but I think we're getting more complicated than we need to.
