Try using your Sub Trim on your Throttle to get it to start when it is suppost to. IE put your stick on one click and then go to the Sub Trim for your Throttle and bump it up until it kicks the motor on. This way you can use your standard Throttle / Pitch curves with out having to do some crazy higher level math Good luck
