Jan - after looking closer at the pic of the 700 - on the 2 sections for the brush cooling - did you solder a piece to the connector and then slip the brass tube that is connected to the fuel line aiside that and then solder that to the bigger tube - it looks like you have solder there and possibly a bigger tube?
