The DA 100 required rudder servos in tail and batteries as far aft as possible. I am doing a lot of work to my 260 to make it really custom and sweet right now. The Edge is really based on the 260 with different cowl, landing gear and wings. I just chose DA because its what I like.
The DA 75 should be sweet. I myself like twins over singles. Just smoother and I think more torque. I would think some lightweight twin in the 80cc range would be sweet. If you are careful you can come out very light. Even with the DA 100 I came in around 23.5lbs.
