RE: BME 37% Ultimate
In addition to the CF landing gear, I changed to a CF spinner because the aluminum one cracked. Not a big fan of CF spinners but thought I'd give it a try, this saved about 6 ounces.
Removed the wheel pants and positioned the battery pack behind the canopy so the 3 oz. of tail weight was removed.
Don't use flying wires but set-up still takes over 10 minutes.
Considering going to KS tuned pipes as an experiment to increase power. My BME 110 powered Composite-arf weights less than 25 lbs, such an over-powered model is spoiling me.
