iowasilvia, i fly a "bashed" hog bipe, with a saito 91 & 14 x 8 apc. it's a bit heavy, due to sheeting the tail feathers, and internal pine stiffeners. fuel consumption is about an ounce a minute. my TAUBE has a 120 pumper. 96" span and it uses TWICE THE FUEL.
i have another HOG on the board now (stretching both wings two rib bays) and i plan a saito 91 for it. trying to build lighter and still resemble a 1925 curtiss hawk.
