Default RE: Eureka Models

Eureka kits were indeed made by Eureka Shoki of Tokyo,Japan I visited all of the small factories that made them I was instrumental in helping design and produce kits for the market in the United States . I returned to Japan after my tour in the U.S.A.F. and started a business venture with Kamenosuki Kokobo. We were indeed copied by other jealous companies. Our aircraft were purposly produced a little out of scale to improve their flying ability. Accurate three-views were often furnished to aid scale enthustiasts. I personally cut the sheet balsa and made the decals that were packed in the kits in San Diego. I legally sold Tiger-Jets and paid the Dyna -jet patent holder a royalty to do so.
