Thanks... knowing it's appreciated maeks it worth the while. I've learned so much from RCU that I think it only fair I give back.


Emvin, I certainly don't blame you... a person should feel comfortable with the procedures they perform and have the utmost confidence in their plane.

At 5 7/8" from prop washer to back of carb... that leaves you only 1/8"...

If you can find a more adjustable mount like this one:

http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=SEA3082

You might get the engine within 1/8-1/4" of the firewall...

I'm sure that 1.80 would rock this plane as well.
