I guess the first thing to consider would be what kind of flying will I be doing. Aggressive 3D flying puts alot more demand on the servos. Its recomended to use high torque digital for that. But, If thats not your style you probably dont need such a high end servo just high torque metal gear...Like the 645....

I have a set of 645's as well, but, I am flying 3d now (intermediate) and am pretty sure I will be getting the 5945. Trouble is there expensive!!! I'm seeing the 5945 for around $80 -90...Once I have them the expence wont matter any more and will probably be glad to have them........
