Default RE: Quique Somenzini YAK-54S 73"

bfreee,

I'm a professional media designer by trade, and I used Photoshop to do up the graphics... nothing fancy but hopefully illustrative.

With a little work, yes the original firewall could be saved, but since it's notch and keyed into the side walls and already has tristock glued front and back... a good deal of "whacking and cleaning" would be necessary to prepare it for reuse.

I realize that not everyone has aircraft ply laying around, but a small 12x12 sheet of 1/8" 5-ply aircraft ply can be had for $3 here:

That would be enough for the whole project.

I'd probably shoot for a couple sheets of 12x24 just to have it handy... I like using small scraps for servos rails as opposed to liteply...

I'd have to agree with John, that was really nice of you to take the time to do up the graphics for everyone. Wouldn't he be able to salvage the original front bulkhead of the fire wall from the one that is whacked off? Also, what did you use to do the graphics?

Thanks, Bruce
