Bfree, I was using a 20 x11 apc e prop. I had about an inch of prop clearence when the plane was level. I am also interested in the large hacker outrunners. This is a great plane to convert. I already have the C50 12 xl so that is what I will use. The 10S lipos are kind of expensive but you dont have to buy fuel all the time for gas. The electric pays off for itself slowly. I hope to have one flying by summer.
