Depends on the gearing and how 'hot' you want to run the motor. They're pretty forgiving as long as you don't let them heat up above 50C or so. If you are going for 30-40 minute runtimes, you should undergear so the motor runs cool. If you overgear, the motor will get hot real quick and you'll have to take breaks every 5 minutes or so to let it cool.
