Default RE: Opinions on Reedy 2-Star NEO-One BL Motor

I just finished building my T4, and put a 1 star neo in it. I've dumped a couple of packs through it so far and love it. I went with the 1 star instead of the 2 because when I ran brushed motors, it was my 12 and 13 turn motors that put out the most consistent lap times. My 10 and 11 turn motors were only used in my 4wd and were a little much for truck.

The one star in the T4 is the perfect balance of driveable, controllable power. It will wheelie if traction is right which tells me that it's dialed for torque. I'm running the stock 87T spur with an 18T pinion. The Sphere is nice and cool, motor nice and cool, after an 8 - 9 minute or so run.

If I need a little more out of it on a large outdoor track lets say with a long straight away, I can always play with the timing on the motor itself. But I've got to say, the 1 star which came recommended from this forum was a great choice.
