RE: Bipes. Which one to build?
You asked how complicated are the PICA kits? That depends. How many kits have you built? How many were scale kits? Were they laser cut? were the parts identified? Do you expect ro have to re-cut some of the parts? Do you expect to have to buy a significant amount of, "Good Balsa"? All these questions are pertinent, since they all apply to the PICA WACO.
Cox has purchased PICA, and they displayed the 1/6th PICA WACO YMF at Toledo, and it as an ARF. They will have the 1/5 th KIT (laser cut) out later this summer. If you can wait for this one, I would do so. If not, maybe you have a friend who has built several complicated models who would give you some direction. I have built 4 of these kits over the years, and am in the process of doing another one as we speak. It is NOT, REPEAT, NOT for the novice builder. You will in all probability become frustrated with this model, and another non-replacable kit will be lost forever. (NOTE this is not trying to cast any negative remarks toward you personally, but your list of completed models leads me to think that this is not the model for you right now) If you can get one, by all means buy it and properly store it. It will still be a viable kit down the road.
