Hey all
Fired up my new Fiddy today.I am running a P.T.Model 22x8 prop
(they can be seen at
http://www.troybuiltmodels.com/Propeller.htm This is my first gasser. It seemed to be running quite well with the factory needle settings,(to my inexperienced ear).
When I tached it ,it was only getting 5000RPM at sea level which is much lower than I was expecting.
Does anyone have any experience with PT model props?
Are they a high load prop for a 22x8 and therefore not suitable for break in?
Is it normal to to get very low RPMs for the first couple of runs?
Or is it more likely the needles are way out?
Is this to many questions for my first post?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated
Howard.
