What is it you're going to connect? Perhaps prethreaded pushrod wire would work, or perhaps we could suggest another solution.

Good thing I asked. That would have been fun trying to thread unthreadable wire. [:@]

I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to install my landing gear in my GWS Formosa (1 pound foam 'Pattern' plane). I was going to thread the wire into a small block of wood and then glue that into hole that's already there.

I've already got the wire. I was originally just going to drill the hole in the wood and epoxy it in. It's not going to take a lot of abuse (I hope!) but I was concerned that it may fall out. But now that I think about it, if I do that, it may likely turn in the hole, putting the wheels out of alignment, sooner than it would fall out.

Maybe I'm better off at making an L bend in the wire and sandwiching it between 2 pieces of wood?
