..Does rowing a boat in Central Park count?.
..Of course it does Curtis...What model were you rescuing from the lake...
NO flying allowed in Central Park! The law stems from the old free flight days, when people were getting hit in the head by runaway Brown Junior powered Berkeley Buccaneers! But they do have a great model boat pond, where you can rent a sailboat if you like. There is a huge waiting list for slips in the model boathouse, it's part of NY's social register, with slips being handed down from generation to generation...
I have lots of interesting model boats, occasionally I bring them out...
Anyway, here's what I flew today...
A Commonwealth Boomerang, the only one in the country, all the way from Australia. Still needs some sorting, it flies very poorly, hard to figure out...
And I tested my Flying Styro Tony, which was just BEAUTIFUL. Way too windy, but could not resist.
Flying Styro has a STAGGERING Me-262 coming out this month, in either single or two seat versions. I have the two seater on order, it will get retracts and Nachtjager Matreze antennae....
