Default RE: for steering

ORIGINAL: 911

Well, i used to say the same before i went digita
with the analog servos plus am radio there was a really noticeable lag between my commands and the time the servo would take to react (this has nothing to do with the servo speed itself)
i'm sure you guys have noticed that when your at the other end of the track, your car reacts slower to your commands, good digital servos reduce this lag time to the point where it's no longer perceptible. To Darthball, if you don't have a FM or spectrum radio system the benefits of the digital servo are less apparent.
The futaba is also water and dust proof and since you have a rebate for the futaba servos you should go for the 9350 or if you can spare 10 more $ get the S9351 wich is basicaly the best servo available from Futaba for 1/8 buggies all the Futaba sponsored pro's use this one.
I have digital servos and i have the airtronics 200oz for steering, i have 5 JR digitals including the 9000T. I have not noticed a lag at distance with any of them but i have spectrum in my M11.
