Default MADIEN AND FIRST FLIGHT

Well, I guess that they call it good Friday for a reason. I spent the better part of the afternoon at another club members house getting my kit built LT-40 balanced. Once we had it balanced we were loading it into my pickup and he looked at me and said well the wind is right we had better go fly this thing. So out to the field we went. When we got there the wind was still pretty strong so we shot the s*&%$ with the other guys that were out there. Finaly the wind died down enough to fly. I fueled up the plane and started up the .46 ax My instructor flew the plane for the first flight to get it trimmed out. After he got it trimmed out he claimed that the plane flew great. He landed it with bueaty. I had that funny grin on my face, I am not sure if it was from the gratification that I had spent 5 months building this plane and it flew or if I was relieved that it landed. We got it back to the pitts and made an elevator adjustment, refueled it and dialed in the buddy box. The plane was once again airborne!! I then had controll for the entire flight. What a feeling!!! every thing went very well. I got a double shot of gratification on Friday!! Thanks to RCKEN for your LT-40 build I have a GREAT flying trainer Due to your build thread. I will post pics of the plane when I have time.
