Zackesch,
You are confusing the LVC (low voltage cutoff) with the BEC. The programable LVC prevents you from running the battery too low thereby losing the power to your radio.

You need to know how much current you are pulling at full throttle, beg, borrow or buy a Whatt meter Good luck,
