You say your CG is 1/8 inch back from spec.....is that 6 5/8 inches back from the leading edge close to the Fuse? If that is correct, I would consider that just a tad nose heavy, 6.5 is a good starting point, but these large models can tolerate quite an aft CG. There are some pilots on this thread flying at 7 1/4 with no real issues. That would be the reason you required so much nose up trim. Can you also confirm your Horizontal Stab incidence for us, and both are the same. Sometimes during shipping, the covering loosens on these ARFs, Requiring the control surfaces to be straightened by reshrinking the covering.
