Default RE: caster buggie

ORIGINAL: yz1000

thanks i have the RTR and about to change the chassis to the pro
also if you put some silicone or shoe glue on the clips that should help ?
why change the pivot arms if mugan guys are using caster arms ??
just a thought
1. Yes silicone will help abit.. infact you can use a mod on those hinges. drill a hole on the plastic and place a screw to secure the pin .If you need pics lmk

2.With the weak chassis of caster. It is best to use a original mugen chassis . I spoke to them about this that it does not pass the brittle test for a pure 7075

3. The plastics from caster is stronger than mugens originals. In rc terms as good as rpm arms.

4. The new 2006 prokit has a design flaw that it's better to use a original mugen front pivot section. The caster version adds weight and has a faster wear and tear.

Overrall i think mugen will be releasing a new buggy soon . so enjoy as much as you can with any mugen mb-x5 hop-ups for the zx-1 before the mbx-5 is discontinued.
