Short answer would be to mail Sara again, very rare that you don't get a reply, guess its just an oversight.

Long(er) answer:
I also had issues (think i spoke to you about them) a while back with starts being long and hot, but found i was just heavy handed with the gas valve after removing the restrictor that was causing me problems by not letting enought gas through! Went from one extreme to another! I was sent a "medium" restrictor to put in my gas line, and after starting 3 times in the back garden last week had some of the fastest and easist starts ever from the little beauty, could hardly believe how quick and low temp they were.
Would suggest less gas, and check for leaks in the fuel line from shut off valves or other connections...easy to spot bubbles in the clear tube, otherwise ask for a medium restrictor to put in your gas line to stop you over gassing the engine.
