Dick. Nice pictures. Enclosed is pic of my H-9 SU31 equipped with Zen 80. I have the prop spinner out away from the cowl like you, but I'm not sure what the benefit is. I haven't noticed anything exceptional about the setup. I am having trouble getting the bird to set up a glide for landing because I think maybe the prop 24x10 is pulling a little too hard. I am reluctant to slow down the rpm because I don't want the engine to die, in fact, I have a high idle setting that I use during maneuvers and go to landing idle setting for landing on final approach.
