10C would discharge a battery from full capacity in 6 minutes!! I guess those using batteries as a motor power source, with high discharge rates, will have different attitudes to this question. My batteries are used only for Tx and Rx! I discharge slowly at .25 to 1C only! My charger has a minimum discharge rate of 0.5 amp. I wish it was lower for my old 500/600mA packs....
