Jelaird, your right 7.5" which is the same distance if you use a Zenoah GT80 so everything should work fine. To get 7.75" all I have to do is get (4) 10-32 x 2.75" capscrews and add the 1/4" spacers that came with the standoffs. RCshowcase standoff link below. Hope this helps.
