RE: the OFFICIAL R-40 thread !
hey guys,
Decided to get my car ready for racing. I rebuilt the whole clutch and cant seem to get the engagement correct at all. Right when I would start the car it would be engaged. So I tried to make the engagement later my tightening the cluitch nut but no dice! I went out the other way for the hell of it and it seemed to get better, but im at about one thread showing on the nut. Whats up with this? Is it b/c Im not running the spring around the clutch shoes? I have ran the car for almost 1 mont w/o the spring amnd it worked fine then?
