I haven't used it yet as my plane is not complete. The concern I have with this gear, which seems to pretty widely used, is that it is swept. That puts a torsional load on the gear mount when landing and it seems it might twist itself out.

The twisting or torsional loading on the Bolly swept gear will not hurt it. The good thing about it is that it absorbs rough landing real good. carbon fiber gear will always come back to its original position and is very resilient. For this reason I think takes a lot of the stress away from the fuse by twisting and absorbing shock. I fly off of a grass field that is not perfectly smooth and it handles it fine. I even had and accident last year that wiped out the fuse in my plane and the gear survived except for a few stress cracks that where easily repair with thin c/a. I cut the gear in half and mounted with 3- 6/32 bolts on each leg. I have seen some guys use 4-4/40 bolts also.
