Engines are designed to run either on gasoline OR glow fuel. I assume when you say 'nitro' you mean glow fuel. You can't just switch between the two fuels without making mechanical changes to the engine. I am not exactly sure what changes are required to switch to a different fuel, but I'm pretty sure you at least have to put on a different carburator.
