Default RE: Official HPI Hellfire Thread

Hey guys, new to the board. Great site! I found this thread searching for Hellfire info. I just picked one up last week. I had been driving it in the yard trying to get the engine tuned in. On the fifth tank the left front wheel came off. Nut worked loose. Surprisingly, I was able to find the nut. It was kind of funny after the fact - the wheel rolling off into the sunset as the hellfire started to do small turns due to the wheel missing.

I have the left side nuts cranked down with lock-tite. My question is - what in the heck was HPI thinking not reversing the threads on the left side hub adapters? Cheaper to manufacture, sure - wouldn't have the different colors of silver and blank - guess that would be a downside, but geez - doesn't make much sense.

Reminds me of the song, "You Picked a Fine Time to Leave Me Loose Wheel" I think that's how it went.....Maybe not.
