RE: Engineers
Understanding Engineers - Take Seven
My calculus professor at the university had a way of explaining infinite limits and engineering. A mathematics student, engineering student and a pretty girl are all sitting on a park bench. The math student would start sitting next to the girl getting closer with each progression, 3 feet, 1-1/2 feet, 3/4 foot, etc. Mathematically the increment would get smaller but never getting to zero (never got the girl). The engineering student did the same, but then got close enough for "all practical purposes".
You had to be there.
