I think that if you put a good 1/8 scale onroad.21 motor in there you would increase your rate of acceleration and possible gain a couple of miles an hour on the topend. A good on road motor is good for about 40,000 plus rpms on the topend, I believe the stock motor only turns 38,000 rpms.
