...So the center-line of the fuel-tank, which is inside the fuselage, directly behind the engine's crankshaft, would be at the same level as the carburettor's spray-bar, so the engine will behave the same in level and inverted flight and also, will not have its fuel flow affected very much by high G maneuvers.
