The 91CD should certainly be able to pull the CMP Spit around the sky as this is the engine they used to test the prototype. What I would say though, is that many modellers prefer to overpower kits to give some additional 'oomph' when needed. If you are confident in your skills the 91CD would be fine, however a 120 size engine could give you the extra power needed to get out of a tricky situation.
