I have a gas and electric RC car. I'm currently drifting my electric one its a Yokomo model and i love it. The only problem with the gas RC cars is the maintenance there a pain to keep in good shape if Ur a beginner i would suggest an electric RC drifter and i agree just buy 3 or so batteries and once one dies put in the next one.
