Default RE: Bridi Vagabond??

I would do the same but of course Bridi Aircraft Designs no longer exists. I always wonder how things like that get by. I think it is the Kaos 40 I am flying now but on that plane the wing tips are supplied as a square block and have to be carved and sanded. One wing tip I had was very nice soft balsa easy to carve and sand to shape. The other block was tougher than southern yellow pine and an Xacto knife would hardly touch it. The Vagabond was the first kit I have ever seen with two right aileron torque rods though. They even forgot the thread eyelets for the clevis. Think I mentioned this before but the Bridi Killer Chaos 60 I got from Sheldon's was missing the even number pages in the manual. Rescue came from a fellow member on here though.

Little trivia here. Botanists classify balsa as a hardwood and it is pretty much a weed where it grows. It grows to 60 ft in 10 years
