By the way you really made a good choice. The Nexstar itself is a nice trainer plane and flies great.. Just unplug the self righting junk and remove the things that are taped out on the leading edge and the flap things with the little holes in them.. Then the plane will fly really nice for you. I know that sounds crude, but I have trained a bunch of guys on Nexstars and I dont like any of that stuff that is supposed to make the plane "self righting".

Make sure you find a club and get some help. They will teach you how to fly for free on a buddy box and your all but 100% guaranteed to learn to fly without crashing. Its a lot more fun when you dont crash 5 times before you make your 1st successful complete flight.
