Congratulations on the deadstick recovery. I've done them many times, but on new aircraft it is always traumatic. I am considering this model and looking at the G62 for power. However, I hate having to butcher cowls to squeeze in the powerplants. I can't bring myself to spend that much money for a FPE or Desert aircraft engines, but the G62 doesn't appear unreasonable in price. What mods did you have to make to the cowl, if any, to fit a G62 in and what did you have to do to balace the aircraft? If you wouldn't mind, please.
