grk65 - The Jeti 600 Navy is a great controller but, it is not a brushless controller. It is for brushed motors. I actually talked with one of the guys at Hobby Lobby about their 40A brushless controller. He said that it can't be setup with a pistol grip controller. Dang.
Of all the brushless ESCs out there, very few can be setup with a pistol grip radio. Most of the brushless ESCs I have found, especially in the 40A range, are for helis and airplanes.
I did find find one that would work and it is a 40A controller. But at $135, it cost more than my boat with hardware(Gecko).
The other controllers I've seen are for alot bigger boats. 80A and up.
I guess the demand for companies to make smaller brushless controllers is not there for surface driving applications. Its all air. I've tried setting up another "heli" controller with my radio and it won't work without a rubberband on the trigger holding it forward in the brake position. I didn't like that.
