Default RE: Official HPI Hellfire Thread

Go do the same thing with a CRT...you will find the same issues.

ALso the A Arm problem is fixed...I have the new arms put out by HPI..
The rest of it depends on how well you maintain your truck. It need to be look at from top to bottom.
What probly happened was your LHS know what is fixing to be comming out and they are holding it for them selves..LOL
ORIGINAL: ProStreetCamaro

I went to buy the hellfire this past weekend. I have 3 LHS around me and 2 of the 3 have hellfires in stock. I went to the first one (which I trust the guy there with his oppinions) and he told me he would rather not see me buy a hellfire. I then asked him why and he told me there is alot of slop through out the entire truck and he has had alot of reports of durability and build quality issues so I didnt buy it. I did take it out of the box and looked at it closely. He is correct in all the slop. It felt like the whole truck was loose. So I left and went to the other shop and they told me the exact same thing so that completely put me out of buying a hellfire. If they have it sitting there ready to be sold and tell me outright not to buy it then there is some serious issues and both of my LHS guys are top notch and strait up with me which i like.
