I learned on a SPAD Debonair. Great tool! Crashed one, total loss. Still have the second one! On mine, I think I have about 1" movement on either side. You may want to try longer servo arms. Before you fly it, check with your instructor, he'll tell you if you need more or less. It should probably be fine though. If you don't know how to fly, get an intructor too. It'll be the best decision you ever made. Of course you'll never know it was because you probably won't crash, which is the event that makes you realize that learning with an intructor would have been the best decision you ever made!
