I had some bare pink foam that I covered with epoxy and gas spit out of the carb and went through the epoxy and melted the foam. I have it capped with balsa now and epoxy coated again. Should I paint it or leave the epoxy bare? I'm thinking maybe there was a pinhole in the the old coating and a little gas leaked passed.
